Dependable help for your team. Real work experience for San Diego students.
Host a team of trained Cristo Rey San Diego students. We recruit, hire, train and employ them, and handle payroll, taxes and workers' comp. Your team gets reliable help in one entry-level role, every workday.
- 40+ San Diego employers partner with us
- 4 students share one role, so it's covered every workday
- $9,150 per student, per school year
- 96% of our students meet or exceed job performance expectations
- 100% of our 2025 and 2026 graduates were accepted to four-year universities
How it works
-
We prepare the students for work
Before their first day, students complete our Summer Success Academy and Young Professionals Institute, with training in professional communication, workplace expectations, technology and Microsoft Office.
-
Four students share one role
Four students each work an assigned weekday and rotate Fridays, so your role is covered every workday of the school year. Their schedules are built so they never miss class.
-
We handle the paperwork
Students are employees of the Cristo Rey San Diego Corporate Work Study Program, not your company. A dedicated account manager supports your supervisor all year.
You get the help. We handle the HR work.
- Recruiting and placement
- Hiring paperwork (I-9, W-4)
- Payroll and payroll taxes
- Workers' compensation
- Training before day one
- Transportation to and from work
- Make-up days for any absences
- An account manager for any questions or issues
One simple price
$9,150 per student, per school year. Most partners host a team of four ($36,600) to cover one entry-level role every workday. You can start with one student and grow.
That's about what you'd spend hiring an entry-level employee yourself, without the recruiting, paperwork or payroll. The fee is a business expense for your company, not a donation. Sponsorship options are available for nonprofits.
