Dr. Gil Brady

Gil graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and following the completion of his service with the U.S. Army, he enjoyed a varied and successful career in the pharmaceutical industry, where he served as a National Sales Director and Senior Director for Sales and Marketing with Elan Pharmaceuticals.
He then left the corporate world to teach Junior High School mathematics and later
served as Principal of a private elementary school in Los Altos California. He left his
position as Principal to pursue his doctorate in executive leadership and human and
organizational learning at George Washington. Gil has come to appreciate the essential role learning communities play in improving productivity and service in any endeavor and is much sought-after as a trusted advisor and counselor.

 

Gil joined Core Strengths in 2012 and focuses on working with Executives from various industries to facilitate their exploration into how best to build the leadership capacity and relational effectiveness of their organizations. Seeing leadership as an emergent force generated through high quality relationships between members of any team, building leadership capacity allows individuals, teams, and organizations to fully realize their potential.

 

Gil also currently serves as the current Interim President of Cristo Rey San Diego High School, the only all scholarship school which serves low-income, first-generation college bound students and their families.

 

In addition he serves on the Board of Directors of PSP Inc. (Core Strengths)(Carlsbad
CA) and Curriki. In addition Gil has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland University College and an Adjunct Professor in the PhD in Leadership
Program at Alliant International University in San Diego.

 

He is married to his wife Katie of 25 years and has two sons, Jack (24) and Matt (22).
Katie and Gil live in San Diego, CA.
