Step 1 - Eligibility
Academic Eligibility:
- We are seeking students who display
- Motivation and maturity
- Openness to spiritual and academic growth
- Passing grades for current grade level
- Good discipline and attendance record
- Students must be rising 9th or 10th graders. We do not accept any 11th grade, 12th grade, or mid-year transfers at this time.
Age:
- We issue a work permit for participation in the Corporate Work Study program. Thus, students applying to the 9th grade must be 14 years old by September 1st of their 1st year at Cristo Rey. Students interested in transferring for 10th grade should contact us for additional information.
Employability:
- All incoming students entering the 2027-2028 school year must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Please contact our office to find out if we can help support your child's specific situation.
Financial Eligibility
- The student's family must be financially eligible. All applicants are required to submit a Financial Aid Application to determine their eligibility. Please see the table below for current financial qualifications. If you have any questions, please call 619-432-1899 or email admissions@cristoreysandiego.org.
Step 2 - Application
Ready to apply?
Click the link below to access the Finalsite online application form. Select "Create An Account" to submit your online application. A member of our team will then contact you to answer any follow-up questions and proceed to the next steps.
Step 3 - Interview
After you have submitted your application and supporting documents, all students are required to attend an in-person interview. Interview Day will be Saturday, February 20th. Decisions will be posted after March 5th, 2027.
