Cristo Rey schools provide a high-quality education to those who would not otherwise have access. What really sets these schools apart is the Corporate Work Study Program: every student works five days per month at an entry-level position. Through job-sharing, corporate partners fill one full time equivalent position, and students earn their tuition while gaining job experience. This combination of real-world work experience and rigorous academics has proven results, including 23,100 graduates, 90% college enrollment and 2,800 work partners. Nationally, Cristo Rey graduates are 2x more likely to complete a bachelor’s degree by age 24, compared to the total U.S. low-income population.
