Karla Magdaleno is a passionate leader with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, committed to empowering students and ensuring they have the tools and opportunities to succeed. Karla was born and raised in the Imperial Valley, where she developed a deep appreciation for community and service. Karla graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Legal Studies and a B.A. in Psychology.

Having worked across various educational initiatives, Karla is dedicated to ensuring that every student has access to the resources, mentorship, and support they need to thrive. She is committed to cultivating learning environments that recognize each student’s unique strengths and potential, fostering both confidence and ambition. Drawing on her experience in the nonprofit sector, Karla leads with intention while championing approaches that uplift young people and equip them with the skills necessary for long-term success.
