Greg Brown grew up in Glenview, Illinois and attended Loyola Academy college prep school in Wilmette, Illinois, and graduated with a BA in Economics from Rockford College in Rockford, Illinois. Greg also holds a Masters of Science in Computer Informations Systems.

Greg’s career includes General Dynamics Convair and Data Systems divisions, and Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), now known as DXC. He also formed his own company and contracted to several companies, including Caster Enterprises and A1 Self Storage. 

Greg and his wife Sharon raised two sons, who both attended Uni High (University of San Diego High School), and earned degrees from UC Irvine and Yale, respectfully. Greg and Sharon are now both retired. Greg has sailed his Catalina 34 sailboat to Cabo San Lucas and La Paz, Mexico, as well as a yearly sailing cruise to Catalina Island. He currently enjoys volunteering with Cristo Rey as the Director of  IT and fills in wherever he is needed.
