Originally from the Chicago area, Mary Fanslow moved to San Diego in 2017 to attend the University of San Diego. She earned her B.A. in Theology and Religious Studies and was involved in University Ministry and Residential Life. After graduation, she moved to Baltimore, MD as a member of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps and served as Campus Minister at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School – Baltimore. 

Ms. Fanslow has been at Cristo Rey San Diego High School since 2022, first as a Theology Teacher, and now as the Alumni Advisor and College Counselor. Ms. Fanslow is also a student at USD, pursuing her Masters in School Based Clinical Counseling so she can continue growing as an advocate for high school and college students.

Ms. Fanslow is so excited to teach Theology at CRSD because of the great sense of faith-based community she sees in the Cristo Rey Network.
