The Cristo Rey San Diego Corporate Work Study Program Team is deeply committed to the mission of Cristo Rey, driven by a shared belief that students can achieve extraordinary success when given the right opportunities. Our program is designed to provide students with a transformative blend of academic rigor and real-world professional experience, preparing them not just for college but also for meaningful and productive lives of service.
The Cristo Rey Network is the largest network of high schools in the United States serving economically disadvantaged youth, with over 12,400 students across 40 schools. These Catholic, college preparatory schools welcome students of all faiths and cultures, offering them a pathway to a brighter future through rigorous academics and innovative programs like the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP).
At Cristo Rey San Diego, the Corporate Work Study Program is a cornerstone of our approach to education. Through CWSP, our students work five days per month in entry-level professional roles at leading companies throughout San Diego County. This unique model allows students to earn a significant portion of their tuition while gaining invaluable experience in the workforce. These opportunities help our students develop critical skills such as teamwork, time management, communication, and problem-solving, while also providing them with exposure to diverse career paths and professional environments.
For our Corporate Work Study Partners, the program offers an innovative staffing solution.
