Ana Gonzalez-Perez was raised in Tijuana and moved to San Diego at an early age. She is the youngest of three siblings and the first in her family to earn a college degree. Ana has a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from San Diego State University. She previously worked as the Family Programs Coordinator at Copley-Price YMCA, where she dedicated three years to supporting and engaging with the local community.
Ana went to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School, where she attended from sixth through eighth grade. With a background in Catholic education, she deeply values the role of education and the sense of belonging that comes from being part of a supportive community. She is a strong advocate for educational equity and believes that every student deserves access to equal learning opportunities and the guidance of dedicated mentors to help them achieve their goals.
