Chris Kramer

Chris Kramer is excited to teach 9th grade Physics at Cristo Rey San Diego High School! Born in Philadelphia, Chris completed his undergraduate study of Mechanical Engineering in Cahtolic University in Washington, DC, where he fell in love with STEAM Education. Wanting to pursue a career in education, Chris thought no better place to continue his journey than the beautiful west coast! At Loyola Marymount University, Chris completed his graduate degree in Secondary Education while teaching high school math and science, coaching soccer and running the Christian service program at Serra High School in Gardena, CA.  For the past two years, Chris has learned a lot about project based learning at High Tech High Mesa. Chris is excited to work with students in discovering, creating and critically thinking about our world through the fantastic lens of Physics!

In Los Angeles and San Diego, Chris has developed a deep appreciation for getting outside! He loves to backpack, rock climb, surf and go to the beach. Chris also appreciates some balance in life, so when he isn’t seeking adventure or teaching, he enjoys hanging out with his friends, playing board games, watching football and basketball and connecting with his family as much as possible. Chris is passionate about the mission of Cristo Rey and is excited to get to know his students, families and community this school year!
