Dominique Vega

Director of College Counseling and Alumni Advising

 

Dominique Vega completed high school in Northern Virginia and also spent her childhood in Peru, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua before moving to the United States. She graduated from Wheaton College with a B.A. in Sociology and International Relations and from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a M.Ed. in Educational Policy Studies.


Dominique began her career in education as an elementary school teacher in the Mississippi Delta as part of Teach for America (TFA). After completing her time in TFA, Dominique returned to her alma mater to work in college admissions and later transitioned to college counseling at a public charter school in Chicago. Dominique is excited to continue her career in education at Cristo Rey San Diego.
