Lizeth Araiza is a Mexican-American from South San Diego. She came back to this community to share her newfound knowledge and passion for supporting high school youth in their pursuit of success after high school after she completed a B.A. in Global Studies from UC Berkeley in the Bay Area. For the past two years, she has worked with 9 – 12th-grade students to prepare and educate them on their options after high school, and the complete college application process from university applications to financial aid and a student’s final school decision for college.
Lizeth knows and believes that making classroom environments and educational content intriguing and engaging for students not only allows for a better understanding of materials and subjects but also stronger relationships between students and staff-student relations.
