Sara Odioso is originally from Pittsburgh, PA, the oldest of four, and the first of her generation to graduate from college. She graduated from Allegheny College with a B.S. in Mathematics and from the University of Pittsburgh with a Masters in the Art of Teaching with a specialty in Secondary Mathematics. Sara taught middle school math in Virginia before making her way to California where she served as the mathematics teacher at Nativity Prep. Additionally, she worked with the Teacher Liaison team at the Diocese of San Diego to help build and facilitate professional learning for educators across the Diocese.
Sara believes that all students can learn to high levels, that each and every student deserves access to high-quality education, and that student outcomes improve when teachers are also supported and encouraged to learn and grow in their practice.
