Viveca Asuncion

My name is Viveca Asuncion. I was born in the Philippines and moved to the U.S. in 1990. My husband and I are blessed with two daughters, a son-in-law, and a granddaughter. My close-knit family has a strong Catholic faith and spending time with them, especially with our granddaughter, gives me so much joy.

My first three years of teaching were at the college level. I started teaching at the high school level in 2001 at USDHS (now Cathedral Catholic High School). I taught Chemistry, Biology, as well as Anatomy and Physiology. I was a science teacher at Cathedral Catholic High School for twenty years. My experience as an educator taught me about commitment, adaptability, and service. I am so happy and thankful to be a part of the Cristo Rey community to guide the students in their meaningful and successful academic journeys.
